Shangri-La Oolong is a twisted oolong style tea made by the Kanchanjangha Tea Estate in the Eastern Nepali Himalayas. Oolongs are a relatively new generation of teas in South Asia, combining traditional regional practices with inspiration from China and Taiwan.
This particular tea is a unique creation, a cross between a light black tea and a dark roasted Chinese oolong. It makes a spicy full-bodied cup with biscuity and peppery aromas. Flavours of plums, baked goods and honey develop over multiple infusions.
