Hungry Squirrel nut butters are made lovingly in Aberdeenshire in small batches, using the best ingredients we can get our paws on. We are continually searching for the best ingredients to provide the tastiest nut butters possible! The entire range uses only natural ingredients, 100% plant based goodness! All nuts are roasted first to produce the best possible flavour, the entire range is suitable for vegans and they’re also naturally gluten free and contain no palm oil – so suitable for lots of dietary requirements and lifestyle choices.

Susan Yule started Hungry Squirrel in May 2017 from her home kitchen in Aberdeen after becoming intolerant to peanut butter and finding the alternative nut butters available on the supermarket shelves uninspiring. She wanted to provide her family with a nutritious spread that was not full of refined sugar and palm oil. Now in commercial premises, Susan produces a range of innovatively flavoured nut butters which are both healthy and delicious, plant based, suitable for vegans, are naturally gluten free and above all... full of flavour!
