Our story begins with a surprising encounter with Matcha in Jamaica. Despite Matcha’s incredible health benefits, I found the flavour too strong. However, since I couldn’t drink coffee/energy drinks I explored pairing it with Jamaican flavours which tasted incredible.

This sparked a quest for cultural fusion leading me to Japan where I spent nearly 2 years! I then moved to the UK & founded The Matcha Yaad. Our mission is to combine the elegance of Japanese Matcha with the zest of Jamaican spices, creating flavourful and functional beverages!
