Description

A premium selection derived from the acorns of Spanish oak trees. During the summer and autumn months, these acorns release a sweet nectar, expertly collected by bees to craft this very dark, less-sweet and robust honey.

The oak tree, referred to as "Roble" in Spanish, is a notable deciduous tree that belongs to the beech family, a surprising association. Remarkably, some oak trees can thrive for over 1000 years! Bees are especially drawn to the sap derived from the tree's acorns.

About Honey & Greens Ltd

Coventry, United Kingdom
While pursuing his bachelor's degree, our founder Idris developed a passion for researching health-related topics. However, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that his interest took on a new intensity. Leading him to immerse himself in the realms of Health Promotion and explore the intricacies of Plant Protection and Sustainability. Idris embarked on insightful visits to local beekeepers across the UK. There, he uncovered the extraordinary healing properties of raw, unprocessed honey, laying the groundwork for the birth of Honeyngreens.

Idris sources his honey from a local beekeeper in Tamworth in the UK and he regularly sends it to the best labs for thorough testing, ensuring it meets the highest standards of pure, natural honey. He follows specifically a method called C4 sugar analysis which is an internationally recognised method for detecting adulteration in honey.
