Description

Organic Saba (Cooked Grape Must), single estate, 100% Italian, from Modena. Produced following the traditional method of cooking on direct flame for two/three days until it is reduced to 25% of its original volume.

Saba is a delicious condiment whose recipe has been handed down to us from the Romans who called it “Sapa” (in Italy is still called Saba). It has a thick texture and it's sweet and fruity with a hint of sourness that makes it a terrific match for ice creams, yogurt and dessert and can be used as a sweetener in baking, chocolate based desserts. You can use it on your porridge, granola, pancakes, waffles, cheese and salads. Gluten free (no starch added). No sugar added. Suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Organic Certification: AIAB IT-BIO-006
Single Estate: our producer owns the vineyard, the production facilities and the cellar and controls the whole production chain .
