Vicky’s Kitchen is born from a heart-felt feeling that our Mum’s cooking is the best! Not just because we say so, but because others have said so for many, many years. Her cooking encapsulates cultural heritage and tradition passed down through generations of Caribbean people – especially Guyanese – and is something we are determined to share with our customers.
The company was founded in 2011 after Beverley, the founder, witnessed the meticulous process of the Great Taste Awards judging process. At that time there was very little representation of artisanal Caribbean condiments on the market and she had a family recipe she wanted to showcase, The Red One.
She launched the brand with a view to meet the standards of the Great Taste Awards and Vicky's Kitchen is now a Great Taste Producer.
Their recipes are all natural, showcasing the ingredients with a burst of scotch bonnet heat.
