The overarching aim of the DESIGNSCAPES project is to exploit the generative potential of urban environments in the highest possible number of European Cities to encourage the uptake and further enhancement and up scaling of Design enabled Innovations by existing enterprises, start-up companies, public authorities and agencies, and other urban stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>In suburban areas, shorter supply chains are the case. Communities are smaller and the human connections still stronger. When it comes to the urban ecosystem, the societal complexity and hierarchy, has led to a complicated food supply chain with multiple intermediates especially in the food-service sector. Food supply chain transactions have an impact beyond just the \u2018buy and sell\u2019 of products. Every time food changes hands in the distribution process, it takes another step away from the community that created it &#8211; and the profit these producers make takes a hit at each stage. By removing the \u2018chain\u2019 and empowering Makers to set the terms of their sales directly with buyers, Todelli ensures maximum returns for the most commercially vulnerable people in the current system.<\/p>\n<p>With the funding support from <a href=\"https:\/\/designscapes.eu\/open-calls\/\">DesignScapes<\/a>\u00a0program,\u00a0the Todelli Design &amp; Engineering team managed to better understand the needs of\u00a0both Chefs &amp; Producers\u00a0and adjust our solution and business around it.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a farm or fine food manufacturer then visit <a href=\"http:\/\/todelli.com\">todelli.com<\/a>\u00a0to sign up.
