This is why we wanted to reshare some insights from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hubbub.org.uk\/festive-freeze\"> HUBUB\u00a0<\/a>that\u00a0will help cut\u00a0your food waste this Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>Three quarters of us struggle to eat all of the food we buy for the festive season, and across the UK 2 million turkeys and 74 million mince pies are\u00a0binned.\u00a0Freezing\u00a0our food can\u00a0<strong>cut food waste by half<\/strong>, saving food and up to \u00a3250 per family each year.<\/p>\n<p>Our polling unearthed some of the challenges families\u00a0face when freezing food.\u00a0Over half the people polled told us that a lack of freezer room drives further food wastage. But 55% of those who do freeze food forget about it.
